Psalm 3:2-3New Living Translation (NLT)

2 So many are saying,
“God will never rescue him!”
3 But you, O Lord, are a shield around me;

How quickly people can change when they perceive you are “down for the count”
How the calls stop coming in, the visits are non exsistant, the text messages go unanswered.
How someone always manages to inform you of what “they” are saying about you
They have pulled up a chair waiting on your demise.
They have thrown a party in anticipation for your destruction.
I know it hurts when people suddenly drop out of your life ( especially during times when you think you need them most) but this has its purpose as well.

Everybody can’t go where God is taking you.

Now is not the time to go defending yourself, this is the time to stay behind the shield of God allowing him to go before you, covering you, protecting you. This shield has super powers able to weather any storm.

Do not let those words penetrate your heart, don’t let those words come near your mind. The promises of God are written on the walls inside the sheild. Study them, pray them, declare them and believe them.

God is never late in his rescue effort, his timing is perfect.
Let them talk, let them wait, let them WATCH GOD move on your behalf.
