14 For God speaks again and again,
though people do not recognize it.
15 He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they lie in their beds.

Today we honor the life of a dreamer.

The famous bits and pieces of the ” I have a dream speech” have been quoted and recited for many years. That was his dream, now what is yours?

I have had many dreams that are still lingering in the back of my thoughts. Some when spoken, people have dismissed as “wild imagination” but I have held on to a few.

I held on to them because I believe they will come true. I have given them just enough power not to disappear when I wake. I remember them. I remind myself of them, I speak of them. I’m a dreamer.

I will not let people or circumstances kill my dreams. I will hide the details in my heart so that Dream Killers will not prevail. I will guard my dreams as I would a priceless gem. I will dream, I will dream big and I will wait on them to come to pass.

Dr. Martin Luther King dreamed about equality (among other things) many of us are still waiting on his dream to materialize. Many of us believe his dream has come, others believe it never will.

His dream was his, again I ask you “what is yours?”
