3 He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord!

Last night I couldn’t sleep. Something someone had told me replayed over and over in my mind causing my Peace to be disrupted.

I wanted sleep, I needed sleep and on top of it all my throat had begun to hurt.

Something had robbed me of the sweet sleep the word of God had promised.

Me, it was me! I had begun to think of what I had heard instead of the scripture above. It never fails, if I don’t keep my mind on HIM, my mind will turn to thoughts of THEM.

Who is “them”?

People who have wronged me, people who I have wronged, situations beyond my control, past hurts, past disappointments,  non accomplished things on my to-do list, and anything else you can think of.

So today, I am reclaiming what’s rightfully mine! PEACE, by keeping my mind on the Peace Giver.
