10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

This past week we (NC) were hit with a winter snow storm. The snow shut down most things, schools were closed, businesses closed, churches canceled services and people couldn’t go to work.

Today the weather report says we should reach a temperature above 70 degrees.

Last week it was 19 today 70, what a difference a few days make.

I am reminded that nothing last forever and in just a little while it will all “clear up” Even the harshest storms have to end. When the storm is over we scarcely remember the storm at all.

And so it is with life. It can be snowing in your life today and tomorrow a sunny 70 degrees. Everything you’re going through is temporary! Everything.

It always clears up.

Learn to look at your “troubles” as lasting for only a little while knowing restoration is coming! Bright 70 degree days are headed your way making you forget about all that snow from last week.
