8 Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

all we have to do is ask!
If its that simple then why don’t we do it.

We have to change our thinking. We SAY God is our Heavenly Father and we are his child but we hesitate to ask for many things. Maybe we feel that the answer will be no, its a selfish request, or we may not know how to ask. Whatever the reason, we don’t ask.

In my house as a child we asked our parents for EVERYTHING! We didn’t dare go into the refrigerator without asking our Mom first. We asked if we could we go places, could our friends come over, for clothes, shoes, books, candy…We simply asked.

What if we asked God for everything- no matter how big or small. We ask FIRST.
Just like we want the best for our children, God wants the best for us. All we have to do is ASK.

The scriptures says he knows what you need before you ask. This lets us know he is waiting on you. Don’t be afraid to ask. Try it now

Prayer:
Father, I want to thank you for already knowing what I need. I want to ask you to ______________________________. I thank you for giving me every good thing and keeping me from the things that aren’t good for me. Amen.
