10 You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked.
There comes a day in our lives that we need rescuing. SAVE me, I feel like I am drowning. I’ve tried to keep my head above water and I still have a sinking feeling. I need help.
People can be so mean, hateful, just wicked. It seems that they go out of their way to do you harm. Even if we try to “bless our enemies, and love those who are against you” THEY seem to still be able to “get under our skin”
But the scripture above says LOVE the LORD. If we love The Lord he will take care of all the rest. He protects us and rescues us.
Our emotions needs rescuing, our feelings are overtaking us, we need God to come in a save the day.
The scriptures says our LIVES will be protected, not our emotions. We put too much stock into what somebody else did.
They have no power to hurt us unless we give it to them.
Le’t remain calm and wait to our Rescuer.
