Luke 12:24 New Living Translation (NLT)

24 Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!

I placed a bird feeder in my flower garden that faces the window in my office. I knew birds ate the food but I never really watched them until a few days ago.

I was praying for provision and a bird came to the window to rest. He paused, looked around and begin to eat the seeds I had provided. I had just reminded God of his word “give and it will come back to you, good measure , pressed down shaken together running over will MEN give back to you – Luke 6:38 ( paraphrased)

then it hit me…I was the MEN in the scripture, I had provided a safe dry place for the birds to rest and eat. When the food gets low, I replenish it. When the birds don’t like the seed I have bought, I replace it.

And so it is with life, God has placed people in your life to feed you and provide for you. It can be your employer, your family, your new client, a new business venture. This is your seed.

One thing I did notice, not every bird comes to my window- some fly right on by. Which further shows me every provision isn’t for me but I will find what is predestined to be mine.

God knew the birds will need to be fed during the winter so he placed it in my heart months ago to buy the bird feeder and to keep it filled. And he has done the same for you. He has placed someone along your path to keep you filled. You are more valuable to God than the birds. If he has used me to provide for them, Imagine who he has used to provide for you.
