Isaiah 43:18-19New Living Translation (NLT)

18 “But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?

This is the first Monday of the new year…time to get excited and stay that way.

I love this version of this scripture. It tells us point blank to “forget all that” and “look and see what is happening NOW”

We have to stop comparing yesterday with tomorrow.

Yesterday is gone, it may not have worked out exactly like you wanted it to- or maybe it worked out perfectly; either way it’s still GONE.

God is telling us he wants to do something NEW, in fact it says he has already begun to do it. Can’t you see it?

Often we can’t see the forest for the trees. We get fixated on what can’t be instead of believing what CAN.

How many of us have defined our lives by what we considered a failure. We have shut down on the possibility of any type of NEXT or NEW, we can’t see it.

I want you to take a fresh look, squint if you have too but look. Look and see what God is doing. Don’t let a NO keep you from trying again. Don’t let a no keep you from seeing the NEW thing that’s happening in your life.

That new job- is waiting on you to apply.

The new house -is waiting on you to put your bid in

The new book- is waiting on you to write it

That new business- is waiting on you to start it

That new body- is waiting on you to train it

Where there is a WILL a WAY will make itself.

Look! It’s already happening, it started when you saw it in your mind.

Can’t you see it?
