Deuteronomy 8:18 Modern English Version (MEV)

18 But you must remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to get wealth, so that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.

I get a lot of prayer request for God to help with financial difficulties. Shoot, I pray for my own money issues. I am constantly declaring the word over my bank account.

Today, I am reminded of the scripture above.

God has already placed in me what it is I need to become wealthy. Wealthy means different things to different people and I will not try to determine what it means to you.

I know many people who have unused talent that could set them financially free.

I was speaking with a friend yesterday that makes an awesome food cart item. She stated she can easily make $500 in about 4 hours! Yes, you read that correctly. She hasn’t pursued this avenue because of the fear that she can’t make a living at it. Excuse me, you made $500.00 in 4 hours, are you making that much on the job you clock in at everyday? I thought not. If you can sell 1 you can sell 2.

My point is this, we are waiting for God to answer a prayer he has already answered. He has given us the ability (idea) to get whatever wealth we need. He makes our plans succeed (see Feb 23rd post) we just have to PLAN.

We often sell our gifts short. We can’t see what God sees in us so we think no one else will see it either. God makes us as he sees fit, our gender, height, skin color, mental capacity, and talents…all of these are so that we can obtain the wealth we need.

What talents are you sitting on that can free you financially? You got to use what you got to get what you want!
