Isaiah 43:18-19New International Version (NIV)

18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!

The scripture above tells us NOT to dwell on the past because he wants to do something NEW.

In business I was constantly met with someone reminding me of how things use to be done, or “we have always done it this way”. There is a strong resistance to change.

In our personal lives we often get stuck at what happened yesterday ( yesterday could be days, months or years)

We find ourselves drifting towards our past.
This doesn’t always have to be a negative event- it can be a time in our lives when we felt we had it all together…
News Flash- it’s still the PAST.

God can not do anything new in your life if you can’t live for today.
Your past is just that….your past.

Pining over the job you lost, the relationship that’s over, the decision you made, will keep you from the beauty of today. It’s like gambling with your future- your future peace.

If you keep daydreaming of happier times, you will never know the NEW thing God speaks about in the scripture.

Today is your appointed time!
Today God wants to bless you with something you have never seen before.
How you did it yesterday is irrelevant today.

Something NEW awaits you!
and it happens TODAY

God Bless you
