Psalm 112:7New Living Translation (NLT)

7 They do not fear bad news;
they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.

Every where we look there is someone bringing you some form of bad news!

we don’t even see it as bad anymore- it can become our new normal.

Its almost like we don’t expect anything other than bad news. The TV is full of it, the papers headline is gloom and doom, the telephone conversations usually start with “guess what happened” and some professionals get paid to tell us everything that is wrong with us.

You can tell me, but I don’t have to accept it. I am trusting God. No, I am not in denial, I am in trust. I am confident that all things are going to work out for my good, which means NOTHING is ever bad.

I will take the News and find out what Gods word says about it. I will confidentially declare that God makes a way where there is no way, whats impossible with man is POSSIBLE with God. I will cast that burden on the one who is able to carry it- and guess what? -it’s not me.

The scripture says to trust that God will take care of you, have I fully trusted him when I received bad news, or did I go out and yell ” extra, extra read all about it” sharing more bad news

Not anymore!

Today I am giving BAD NEWS the boot!

I will remain calm and watch God make new headlines.
