Galatians 1:10New Living Translation (NLT)

10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

When you have made up in your mind to do whatever it is God called you to do; your approval rating among people declines.
This can be a lonely and often emotionally painful experience. You may even begin to question your assignment. This is especially true when the opinions start flooding in. You have sought out the approval from the wrong sources.
You can get so caught up in the excitement that you want to share whatever it is with everyone. Everyone won’t get it; everyone wont approve. Some will try to convince you to give up that crazy idea. They may even ask ” Did God really tell you to do that?”

Remember, they ( friends/famiy/people) do not hold your future in their hands; God does.
God has given you a vision, and it will come to pass. He will make your paths straight. It is he who gives you the ability to gain wealth, it is he who goes before you in battle, it is he who have redeemed you from a life of sin and death.
Even brothers and sisters in Christ sometimes have trouble seeing where God is taking you. You don’t need their approval either.

You are living for HIM not THEM
