James 1:6New International Version (NIV)

6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.Screenshot 2014-12-12 09.23.25

When you go to God and tell him all your concerns, do you walk away feeling sea sick?

Do the waves of worry keep you from enjoying the peace of the water- the living water.

What causes us to doubt God’s ability?

Have we given a selfish, motivated by greed request?

Have we given HIM ultimatums?

Have we demanded and stomped our feet, not weighing the consequences of our powerful words.

Or have we just lost hope that our situation will change?

These things cause a wave of nausea over our hearts and minds preventing us from vacationing in the arms of God.

God wants you to bring all your worries, emotions, fears, and problems to him. He wants you to lay them at the waters edge letting the waves carry them out to sea, never to return to you.

He wants you to look out on the water and see that the deeper your relationship is  with him- the calmer your waters will be. He wants to take you from the choppy waters of insecurities and place you on the beaches of peace and joy.

See my friends there is a cure for sea sickness, and the prescription is in your heart.

God bless you
