2 Timothy 1:7New King James Version (NKJV)

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

What are we afraid of?
the Unknown?

Many children are afraid of “the dark” their minds have convinced them that there is something hiding under the bed
They aren’t able to sleep until someone “turns on the light” proving once and for all there is nothing to be afraid of.

And so it is with us.
It is often scary when we are walking in unfamiliar territory or suddenly faced with a dark situation. Our minds can tell us that there is something hiding that you can’t see. This petrifies us, often crippling and stopping us from moving into our true destiny. When you can’t see your way, it is easy to stumble or fall.
The remedy- turn on the light.
Jeremiah in the Bible says God’s word is like a fire (a light burning within)
There is no need to be fear, there is no need to have anxiety.
All you have to do is turn on the light.
