Psalm 119:105New Living Translation (NLT)

105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

Worry and depression can make life so DARK and the only sure way I have found to keep myself from falling into the black hole of despair it to SPEAK the WORD.

I open my bible (app) and look for “scriptures to encourage” I begin to say each one out loud. I find myself getting louder and louder until I am declaring the word of God with conviction. I continue this until I “feel” the heaviness lift.

The scripture says this words is a lamp and a light. It is necessary to SEE where you’re going. Use the word for a lamp and speak it until there is light.

I can see much clearer now…even if it’s just a glimmer.
