Mark 11:23 Modern English Version (MEV)

23 For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.

I’m not sure where or when we bought into the belief that we have to go through “our mountain” when the scripture says we can speak to it.

A very crazy song sung in a lot of churches says “I’m coming up on the rough side of the mountain; and I’m doing my best to make it in”

Are we serious?

Whatever problem we are facing we only have to command it to go. Our faith is the key that cast out any difficulty.

So why hasn’t our faith caught up with our reading and belief? This scripture was written long ago and no doubt most of us have read it. Have we accepted the false belief that we must go through EVERYTHING?

Now, I’m not saying life will be a cake walk, but what I am saying is that we are not defeated by anything we can speak to.

Somewhere we HAVE to get tired of climbing and start SPEAKING!
