Proverbs 13:20New International Version (NIV)

20 Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm.

IMG_0970.PNG

Who are you walking with?
Who do you hang out with, spend the most time talking to?
Are they helping you? Are they encouraging you? Uplifting you.

I often tell my children
“you can’t ask a poor man how to get rich”

People often have advice for you that hasn’t worked for them ( the companion of fools)

The scripture above cautions us about who we are friends with.
Look around your circle, notice how everyone tends to be in similar situations?

Are you hanging with the wise to become wiser or with fools to become foolish.

Surround yourself with people who have learned the difference between wisdom ( knowing what to do) and knowledge ( knowing when to do it)

We say all the time ” you are what you eat”
I say ” you are who you hang around”
