18 Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the Lord.

This scripture blessed me this morning. There are many miracles happening everyday that no one knows about. We need to share what God is doing so the scripture will continue to ring true. Someone needs to know and hear about what God did for you in 1980 or 2015.

Even what we consider to be the simplest things may be the encouragement needed for future generations. Someone needs to know how God brought you back from the brink of death, how he healed you from cancer or how he saved your marriage, got you that promotion, the list is endless.

I encourage people I coach to keep a journal. This is a great way to look back and see how much God has blessed you.

I often hear people ask for prayer but they don’t want people to KNOW what they want them to pray for. This always puzzles me. Many of these same people are keeping the “answered prayer” to themselves.

You don’t have to tell me, but tell SOMEBODY what God has done for you. Write it down for your children’s children to know! Just imagine if you found your great, great grandparents journal. How much joy it would bring.

This is what the bible is to us, someone’s journal. It is a record of just how GOOD God has been to us. It continues today, add your story to it.
